Which areas around Macclesfield do you cover?

The core of it is Macclesfield itself: the town centre and the old terraced streets, Hurdsfield, Tytherington, Broken Cross, Upton Priory, Weston, Moss Rose, Bollinbrook, Hollins and Sutton. That's home ground, and it's where most of our work is.

Beyond the town, we cover the villages that belong to it — Bollington, Prestbury, Gawsworth, Sutton, Henbury, Lyme Green, Bosley, Rainow, Kerridge, Langley, Wincle — and the high ground east of it, including Sutton Lane Ends, Macclesfield Forest and Wildboarclough. The uplands are a genuinely different plumbing world: colder, older, and frequently off the mains gas grid.

What we don't do is claim the neighbouring towns. They each sit in their own postcode district and have their own local plumbers, and you'll be better served by one of them than by someone driving over from Macclesfield. If that's you, we'd rather say so now than take the job.

Deliberately, then, the patch is small. A plumber covering half the North West spends their day on the A523 rather than at your house, and "same day" quietly turns into next week. Staying local is what makes a quick visit possible — and it's also what makes it possible to know, before setting off, that a house on a particular street is likely to be on a shared drain or a lead supply pipe.
